A strong cold front has continued to affect Guangdong this week, bringing noticeably cooler weather and strong coastal winds. According to the Guangdong Meteorological Service, the chill is expected to ease from Thursday (October 23) as skies clear and temperatures begin to rise.
On Thursday and Friday (October 23-24), most of the province is expected to see a return of sunshine and slightly warmer daytime temperatures. Morning lows will range from 13°C to 16°C in the north and around 19°C to 22°C along the coast, with further warming by Friday.
In Guangzhou, the weather will gradually turn milder, with highs climbing from 22°C on Wednesday to around 27°C by Friday.
Meteorologists added that Typhoon Fengshen, which had been affecting the South China Sea earlier this week, is now moving westward toward Vietnam, reducing its impact on Guangdong.
