The 2026 Guangdong Provincial City Basketball League ("Yue BA") tips off its much-anticipated third round this week, headlined by the Zhuhai team's home opener at the newly renovated Doumen District Sports Center. On Saturday, April 11, Zhuhai will face off against Guangzhou in a matchup that is sure to electrify local fans.

The schedule for the third round of the regular season

The Zhuhai's Doumen Sports Center, the official home venue of "Yue BA" Zhuhai, was fully completed on April 7. The upgraded arena now features nearly 4,000 spectator seats. 

To make the game more accessible, tickets for this round are priced at a fan-friendly 8.8 yuan each. The ticketing reservation system opens at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, and closes at 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8. Fans can follow the official WeChat public account "Guangdong Basketball - Yue BA" (廣東籃球-粵BA), click on the "Yue BA Ticketing (粵BA購票)" section on the homepage, select the match they wish to attend, and submit their reservation.

After reservations close, a lottery draw will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 9. The draw is completely random and not based on reservation time. Results will be categorized into three statuses: "Selected (中簽)," "Waitlist (候補中)," and "Not Selected (未中簽)."

Ticketing schedule

Users with "Selected" status should complete payment by 7:00 p.m. on April 9 via the "My Reservations (我的預約)" section to secure an e-ticket. Fans on the "Waitlist"should also complete payment by the same deadline to confirm wait-list eligibility; they will then be seated in the order that vacancies become available.

Any unpaid seats from selected users will be released at 7:15 p.m. on April 9 and reassigned to waitlisted fans who have already paid. Those on the waitlist who are not eventually seated will receive a full refund starting from 8:30 p.m. on April 9.
